In the second free practice session at Sebring, the Ferrari 499Ps achieved the third and fifth fastest times with car number 50 and number 51 respectively in the top class of the FIA WEC. The session, interrupted for 15 minutes due to two red flags, allowed the Prancing Horse crews to complete a total of 45 laps in favorable weather conditions and a temperature of 21°C.

The drivers of the No.50 499P made up of Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen recorded a best lap time of 1'48''121'' (1''167 behind the leaders in the No.7 Toyota). The laptime was delivered by Antonio Fuoco, who stayed behind the wheel of the 499P for 10 laps, after the turn of his Danish companion Nielsen, who had started the session leaving the cockpit after 15 laps.

The No. 51 Ferrari secured fifth, piloted by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi, by virtue of the fastest lap (1'48''606), set by the Piedmontese three-time world champion Guidi, who took over from his British companion Calado; both completed 13 laps in the afternoon.

Tomorrow a third round of free practice is scheduled for an hour starting at 11.55am and the qualifications reserved for the top class of the World Endurance Championship, over a distance of 15 minutes, from 7.20pm (local times).
