Le Mans 2025: the 296 LMGT3s at Scrutineering

    Le Mans 07 giugno 2025

The five Ferrari entries set to contest the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans took centre stage at Scrutineering, held in the historic centre of the French town. In addition to the technical checks for all cars, the event, as tradition dictates, offered a unique chance for motorsport fans to see the Ferrari 296 LMGT3s up close, along with their drivers – including four of the Maranello-based manufacturer’s official drivers.

During Scrutineering, the crowd applauded the two 296 LMGT3s entered by Vista AF Corse for the entire World Championship season: the number 21 car, shared by Alessio Rovera, François Heriau, and Simon Mann, and the number 54 entry, driven by Davide Rigon, Thomas Flohr, and Francesco Castellacci.

The other three Ferrari entries on the grid are the number 57 Kessel Racing car, driven by Daniel Serra, Takeshi Kimura and Casper Stevenson; the number 150 Richard Mille AF Corse entry, featuring Lilou Wadoux, Custodio Toledo and Riccardo Agostini; and the number 193 Ferrari from Ziggo Sport Tempesta, driven by Jonathan Hui, Christopher Froggatt and Edward Cheever.

Meanwhile, attention across the international motorsport world now shifts to the track activities, which begin on Sunday, 8 June, with the first two free practice sessions of the Test Day. The cars will return to the 13-kilometre French circuit on Wednesday, 11 June, for two additional free practice sessions and Qualifying. Thursday, 12 June, will feature a two-part Hyperpole session and two further free practice sessions. The race itself kicks off at 2 p.m. (local time) on Saturday, 14 June.
