The FIA World Endurance Championship heads to the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola for round two of the 2025 season. A little under two months after the opening race in Qatar, the world championship arrives in Italy for a six-hour race starting at 1 p.m. local time on Sunday, 20 April.
The Emilia-Romagna circuit, inaugurated in 1953, hosts the FIA WEC for the second consecutive year. Eighteen Hypercars and another 18 LMGT3 entries will tackle the 4.909 km track with its 21 turns, winding along the banks of the Santerno River.
The two Vista AF Corse Ferrari 296 LMGT3s arrive at their home event following fifth and eighth-place finishes in the season opener at Lusail. François Heriau, Simon Mann, and official driver Alessio Rovera, in the number 21 car, finished the race just half a second off the podium after consistently running near the front of the field. Thomas Flohr, Francesco Castellacci, and official driver Davide Rigon's number 54 car faced a more challenging debut but fought back well to secure a points finish.
Standings Following the results in Qatar, Heriau–Mann–Rovera sit fifth in the drivers’ championship with 15 points, while Flohr–Castellacci–Rigon are eighth with 6 points. The team standings mirror the positions in the drivers’ championship.
Programme Track action kicks off on Friday, 18 April, with two 90-minute free practice sessions at 11.15 a.m. and 4 p.m. On Saturday, 19 April, a third 60-minute session begins at 10.40 a.m., followed by LMGT3 qualifying at 2.30 p.m. and the Hyperpole at 2.50 p.m. The six-hour race starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday, 20 April (all times local).
