After a 2024 season marked by steady improvement in results and performance, Team Vista has renewed its partnership with AF Corse, reaffirming its commitment to the FIA World Endurance Championship. In 2025, the team will once again field two Ferrari 296 LMGT3s at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, building on the strong showing in early May at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps – round three of the World Championship – where the number 21 car secured victory and the number 54 finished third.

The team also concluded the 2024 season on a high note: at the 6 Hours of Fuji, Rigon, Flohr, and Castellacci secured the 296 LMGT3’s first world championship win, followed by another triumph in the next round, where Rovera, Mann, and Heriau claimed a second victory at the 8 Hours of Bahrain.

The team. Thomas Flohr, founder and owner of the private aviation company Vista, established the team and also competes as one of its drivers. Since 2017, the Swiss outfit has raced in the World Endurance Championship, achieving multiple wins with Ferrari. More recently, it has strengthened its partnership with AF Corse, leading to the formation of Vista AF Corse at the end of 2023.

Number 21 crew. The number 21 crew heads to France buoyed by a victory in the most recent round of the FIA WEC. Prancing Horse official driver Alessio Rovera, François Heriau, and Simon Mann secured first place at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, a result that propelled them to second in the provisional LMGT3 standings. The trio takes on the Circuit de la Sarthe together for the second consecutive year, with the Italian driver regarded as the veteran of the group, making his fifth appearance in the race. Rovera also boasts two World Endurance Championship (WEC) titles: one in LMGTE Am in 2021 and another in LMP2 in 2022. Last year, the Ferrari 296 LMGT3 number 21 finished sixth, delayed by a puncture suffered during the night. The crew went on to achieve third place in the final standings of the 2024 FIA WEC.

Number 54 crew. The crew of 2024 – the year Vista AF Corse made its debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans – has been retained, with Ferrari official driver Davide Rigon joining Thomas Flohr and Francesco Castellacci. The trio are in action together at the Circuit de la Sarthe for the third year in a row, having raced in 2023 under the AF Corse banner. Davide Rigon is undoubtedly the most experienced of the three. This year marks his 12th appearance at Le Mans, where he has one podium to his name. Castellacci and Flohr have been racing together since 2017, and this year marks their tenth appearance at Le Mans. In 2024, the trio was forced to retire during the third hour after sustaining damage in a collision with the barriers in the first sector. They finished seventh in the final FIA WEC LMGT3 class standings.
